Look Better and Keep Your Competitive Edge with Male Plastic Surgery

If your looks are starting to hold you back, and you want to look as robust as the younger guys at work, it might be time to consider male plastic surgery. Marbella men have been visiting our Plastic/Reconstructive surgeon Dr. Christoffer Ingves in our Marbella consultation rooms in much greater numbers in recent times to quickly regain the look they had when they were younger. There are male plastic surgery procedures that can:

• Diminish love handles

• Give you a younger appearance

• Relax frown lines

• Make you more attractive

Although society has often been kinder to men than to women as they show the signs of aging, there is no denying that “There's a big difference between looking rugged and looking haggard”. If you want to improve your looks without spending countless hours in the gym day after day or simply want to look as young as you feel, male plastic surgery could be the answer for you. And you definitely won't be alone – more men than ever are contacting plastic surgeons to assist them with their specific problems and to help boost their confidence, give them that competitive edge and lift their self esteem to a new level.

"Lunchtime" male plastic surgery procedures such as Botox, Juvéderm, Radiesse, Sculptra and laser hair reduction are the most common because there is no downtime - you can go right back to work afterwards. Non-surgical procedures for men increased by an enormous amount worldwide a huge 750% between 1997 and 2006. Dr. Ingves also offers more involved types of male plastic surgery. Marbella male patients can count on discretion and privacy for treatments such as liposuction, neck lifts, eyelid surgery, nose reshaping, male breast reduction and minimally invasive mid face and brow lifts.

If you are considering male plastic surgery, contact us today to schedule your free consultation. Dr Ingves will meet with you and evaluate your goals to determine the best course of action in your specific case.

Ultratine and Endotine Midface, Forehead and Brow lifts

Marbella Medical Group is pleased to announce the introduction of an American product called ENDOTINE® and ULTRATINE® they are bio-absorbable fixation devices that simplify facelift procedures and provide the surgeon with greater confidence, thanks to its unique multi-point fixation technology through its “tines”.

With minimally invasive surgery, these devices are easily inserted into the appropriate facial anatomy, after which the “lift” is positioned appropriately and the tissues allowed to heal.

After a few weeks, the devices are fully re-absorbed, providing patients with a more comfortable, longer lasting face, brow or forehead lift. ENDOTINE® is available in various variants for forehead, midface and brow lift. The ENDOTINE® RIBBON is also available for lower (for sagging jaw lines) and midface lift.

ULTRATINE® on the other hand is available only for the forehead procedure. It has additional advantages of less palpability and faster re-absorption.

Our resident Plastic Surgeon Mr Christoffer Ingves is at the forefront of all of the latest techniques and products from the United States which means that we are able to offer our clients new and less invasive methods of surgery using these latest technologies.

HOW DOES THE MIDFACE AGE?

The midface is an essential component of an attractive face. With the aging process, the fatty tissue that normally drapes over the cheekbones can begin to sag with gravity. The result is less prominent cheekbones, and a droopy fold of skin and fat between the nose and the cheek (the nasolabial fold). The sagging cheek fat can also alter the appearance of the lower cheek.

For example, bagginess of the lower eyelids often becomes more apparent after the fat of the upper cheek begins to sag. This in essence 'unveils' the bagginess of the lower lids, which have always been there. In addition to sagging of the skin and fat of the midface, there is also volume loss from the cheek with aging, due to loss of cheek fat and muscle.

ENDOTINE MIDFACE SUSPENSION

This technique involves use of an absorbable implanted device that aids in maintaining the position of the tissues after a cheek and midface lift. The device is typically used with the subperiosteal midface lift. The main advantage of the Endotine midface lift over other midface and cheek lift techniques is that it provides a more effective method of holding up the lifted tissues compared to traditional sutures.

A cheek or midface lift procedure may be performed either alone or in combination with other procedures e.g. neck lift, endoscopic brow lift or blepharoplasty.
